Donald Wayne Letich, Jr., 79 years old of Antioch, IL, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. He was born September 14, 1937 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Donald Sr. and Magdalena (nèe Roth) Letich. On August 8, 1959, Don married Bonnie Doss in Chicago. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved being outside, whether it was boating, snowmobiling, or mowing the lawn. Don was a Board Member of the Northern Illinois Conservation Club and the North Shore Improvement Association.
Donald is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Bonnie; and their children, Laura (Ken) Golonka and Linda (Bryan) Krusmark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Donald Letich and his sister, Joan (Jerry) Harrold.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:00a at Strang Funeral Home, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002 to St. Peter Catholic Church, 557 Lake St. Antioch, IL. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00a. Visitation will be held from 4:00p until 8:00p Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Interment will be private in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. For additional information, call 847-395-4000.
